Great news!

I found my flash drive with all my templates on it! So I’m officially taking submissions and I will look back to see if I have any in my inbox I didn’t get to use.

Hi, loves! I have finished all my testing at school for the moment so I have a little break in studying (except I have to read and write a paper on Plato’s Republic by Wednesday, oops) so I’m going to try this weekend to sit down and go through my list to make some new posts. In the mean time, I could use some submissions!

041. What she had realized was that love was that moment when your heart was about to burst.

At some point on the morning of the second day she came to a terrifying realization. She had no idea how it had happened or how she was supposed to cope with it. She was in love for the first time in her life.

040. Camilla SalanderSubmitted by:  lisbeth——salander

Her mother had been short and thin, but nowhere near as anorexic-looking as Salander. In fact, her mother had been downright beautiful, and had a lovely figure. Just like Salander’s sister, Camilla.
Salander did not want to think about her sister.
For Salander it was an irony of fate that she and her sister were so dramatically dissimilar. They were twins, born within twenty minutes of each other.
Lisbeth was first. Camilla was beautiful.

"…The report is 193 pages long, but 120 pages are copies of articles he wrote or press clippings. Blomkvist is a public person with few secrets and not very much to hide."
"But he does have some secrets?" Frode said.
"Everyone has secrets," she replied neutrally. "It’s just a matter of finding out what they are."
"Let’s here."

"…Somehow she managed to survive and dig herself out and—"
"And somehow get back to the farm and swing an axe into Zalachenko’s skull," Blomkvist finished for him. "She can be a moody bitch."
"But how on earth did she handle Niedermann?"
Blomkvist shrugged. He was as bewildered as Erlander on that score.

For those who haven’t heard, congratulations to Rooney Mara for her Oscar nomination!! I’m so excited for her. She really deserves it and even though freaking Meryl Streep is in the same category, my fingers are crossed that she wins.

Not gonna lie, though, I’m pretty pissed about leaving out Trent and Atticus’s score. It’s so unique and amazing. I also would have liked a nomination for David Fincher. People told him he was insane for making this movie and he turned it into something I think Stieg would be quite proud of, so I wish he got some “official” credit for that.

BUT ROONEYYYY, YES. I love her. Some of you are probably fans of Noomi and the Swedish versions as well (so am I; I love Noomi just as much as Rooney), but if you’ve seen this movie, you have to admit, Rooney was fantastic.

Heya! Noticed you got the kindle fire and said you had a citation problem. Kindle has the borrow thing going on if you're a prime member.

Augh, I really need to suck it up and become a prime member, don’t I? It seems so awesome. As soon as I get WiFi at my house that will probably be the first thing I do. But I live in the middle of nowhere and I have to wait for my other internet contract to be up before I can switch it for WiFi.

Thanks, though! The borrow thing seems so cool and I hope to one day be able to use it lol

If people still give you this quote citation problem, you can try getting digital copies of the books and search for the terms in it (via the search engine or CTRL+F). It would lighten the workload, at least. :3

Yes! Thank you! I really need to do that. I’m not much of an e-book person, but I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas that I’ve read a few free books on for the hell of it, and when I realized I could search things I was like I NEED THIS FOR MY BLOG.

Anyone happen to know where I could get the series for free? (Or am I even allowed to ask that without the FBI breaking down my door?)

Hi, guys! Quick question for those of you sending in submissions (which are awesome and I love you for), could you do me a huge favor and try to send me a page number, or maybe a short description of what part of the book it’s from? I mean, if you think of something off the top of your head, you don’t have to go looking through the book for the page, but if you happen upon an idea while you’re reading, pages would be awesome. I like to include a little bit of the conversation surrounding the topic of the post, and I like to see with my own two eyes that something is quoted correctly, and I don’t always know where to start looking for these things.

That might sound annoying. I’m sorry. But if you’ve ever flipped through a book for an obscure quote and you don’t know where to start looking, you know it can be really difficult and time consuming.

Thank you!
